Voila! Festival returns to the Space for 2026!

There are two and a half weeks of border-busting, multi-lingual and migrant led productions, as we join 8 other venues across London.

Our Programme for Voila! ’26 is:

The Not So ‘Dolce Vita’ – 3rd & 4th November:
Pizza, pasta, and mandolino? Join two Italian expats in London for an irreverent, sensory musical journey. Benvenuti – Grab a seat at our table!

Dünyada – 5th, 6th & 8th November: 
A monologue of a somewhat stranger. A radical reimagining of Will Eno’s Title and Deed by Mehmet Ali Nuroğlu. An experimental solo theatre staged in cinematic language.

How To Cry In A House Full Of Children – 6th November:
A mother’s truth, unfiltered. A woman stands at the edge of herself, caught between devotion and desire, tenderness and fury.

H2E+ (Heaven To Earth Plus) – 7th, 14th & 21st November:
A fear that generations were coped with. An autobiographical story by a Ukrainian soldier, woven together through music, poetry, and Ukrainian folk songs.

Balance – 8th & 15th November:
When the world tips over, they find their feet. Using beer kegs, bottles, and planks, two strangers turn a dusty cellar into a high-energy acrobatic playground.

Do You Know Where To Go From Here? – 8th & 14th November:
Sophie wakes up in a strange space. God is nowhere to be found. In this sea of clutter, will she find a lifeline? A dark comedy on thriving despite perpetual grief and uncertainty.

The Girl – 10th & 11th November:
Maybe there is no such thing as society, after all.
A contemporary adaptation of Yerma set to the backdrop of Thatcher’s Britain.

The View – 12th & 21st November:
An experimental theatrical nature documentary following an endangered human specimen: a young adult woman torn between her need for connection and isolation.

Marlo – 14th & 15th November:
Your past and future selves meet in a living room.
Meet Marlo, a young woman stuck in her patterns. Navigating through long distance love, gender identity, exercise addiction.

Mother Tongue – 14th & 15th November:
Every full moon, a sisterhood rises from the earth, the women whose identities were altered or erased by violence. They are not malicious; they simply refuse to be dismissed

My Ex-Lover Turkey – 15th November:
In Scotland, an immigrant collects donations at the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh, falls in love and tries to begin again, only to find his old country still living inside him.

Fiasko! – 19th November: 
Two men, a wardrobe of dresses and a sleepover. Two friends step into a world of dresses, playing famous female characters to find joy and their inner child.

The Trojan Women of Today – 19th – 21st November:
This is the story of Hecuba, Andromache, Cassandra, and all the unnamed women of Troy. It happened 2,500 years ago or in 2026. Euripides in direct dialogue with our time.
