Twelfth Night Livestream

25 Jul - 25 Jul

Twelfth Night – arguably Shakespeare’s queerest play – will get the best modern treatment possible: a reading by an exclusively trans and nonbinary cast!  The play features a comedy treatment of separated twins, crossdressing, queer romance and quite a lot of music.  Viola, in the guise of Cesario, has to romance Olivia on behalf of the count Orsino.  Meanwhile, a crew of comedy lads are also trying to woo Olivia, with much less success than Cesario/Viola!  Hijinks of the Shakespearean sort ensue, which we aim to make as (gender) queer as possible.

My father had a daughter loved a man
As it might be, perhaps, were I a woman
I should your Lordship.
