Best friends Becca and Zoe have known each other for 20 years. They share an idyllic childhood in Asia, but as Zoe begins a new life in London, conflict arises as their paths diverge. How do we maintain friendships as we advance in life? What makes a friendship thrive despite time and distance?

Time and Time Again explores the conflict between adapting to a new culture while holding onto one’s roots. It asks what we are willing to give to keep old ties alive. This show is developed by international theatre makers Ioana Pitic, YY Yong and Stephanie Renae Lau, inspired by their own experiences as migrants trying to hold onto home and celebrating the friendships that make them who they are today.

Indigo Creative is a multidisciplinary devising trio creating bold, impactful work with heart. Merging our specialisms in performance (European theatre art, dance, and playwriting), we are interested in exploring the uniqueness of our experiences as women, migrants, and creatives, and how it impacts the way we relate to the world around us.

‘I’m 25 now, so I have lived 9,125 days. If I go home once a year during Christmas and each time I spend one week with friends and family, assuming my parents live until 100, I will have 315 days with them. But the truth is, maybe we don’t even have 315 days.’
