Sepoys is a drama during World War I, exploring the fates of Rani and Benoy, two young Indians navigating love, duty, and identity during British rule.

Rani, a medical student from Calcutta (Kolkata), aspires to study in England but is torn by her secret relationship with Benoy. Benoy, also a medical student, decides to end his studies to join the British Indian Army, leaving Rani behind.

The play follows their emotional journeys: Rani battles with her beliefs and the harsh realities of volunteering in a London hospital during the war. Benoy endures the brutal life of a soldier, facing discrimination and the horrors of war. Through letters and introspective moments, both characters confront the complexities of colonialism and personal sacrifice.

There will be a Q&A following the performance.
