Recitals at the Space - April '26

12 Apr - 12 Apr

An uplifting afternoon of original piano music. Beautiful, contemporary compositions in an atmospheric and quietly inspiring setting.

London-based pianist and composer Trevor Wensley has been making music for many years. He has played in several bands, released work on major labels, and written music for short films and television. In 2022 he turned his attention to neoclassical piano and began releasing music as Telin. Drawing on the harmonic worlds of Debussy and Ravel as much as the songwriting of Joni Mitchell and Nick Drake, Telin writes with a distinctive melodic voice, subtle rhythmic interplay, and a considered sense of form. Across three albums and multiple releases with different labels, his music is defined by a characteristic balance of lightness, calm, and clarity.
Telin’s work has been featured on BBC Introducing and the Radio 3 podcast The Sleeping Forecast.
