Pews At Ten @ Union Square
23 Jul - 23 JulThis event takes place at Union Square, Canary Wharf as part of the Summer Daze Festival.
What if Mean Girls was set in a church, a Welsh church? And what if The Plastics were three formidable Welsh women who live for gossip, bickering and reruns of Tipping Point? This warm and fast-paced comedy unfolds in a village church where daily routine is delightfully upended by the arrival of a newcomer and the unexpected news that Sir Tom Jones is coming to visit. Packed with sharp wit, playful physical comedy and plenty of heart, it’s a joyful celebration of community, chaos and unlikely friendships.
This performance operates on a first come, first served basis and has a running time of approximately 75 minutes with no interval. Entry is free.
Attendees are encouraged to bring a picnic blanket for seating; a limited number of deck chairs will be available.
