Permission Livestream

31 May - 31 May

Leaping between an immigration-line at Heathrow and a roof-top in Karachi, Hanna negotiates her political and sexual autonomy by playing into perceptions of being a ‘respectable Pakistani woman’. Torn between love for community, and rebellion against it, she moves to hyper-individualistic London, and plays hide n seek with freedom and it’s antithesis.
