Incomplete
1 Apr - 12 AprInspired by the song ‘Louise’ by Human League, Incomplete is a touching drama where two former lovers are unexpectedly reunited.
In 1985, Phil and Louise are young, in love and are planning a future together. They are on the cusp of getting engaged, when without explanation, Phil dumps her, leaving Louise distraught. Now, decades later, they find themselves together once more, waiting for an interminably delayed train at country railway station. With nothing else to do, they contemplate their lives together and apart, the secrets they kept, people they loved and lost, and what the future may hold ….if the train arrives.
“The play challenges typical “found-love” tropes and explores other senses of purpose. Through Louise’s story, Incomplete is an open-hearted portrayal of life’s messy rides and reminds us that happiness isn’t a flawless destination.” – The Plays The Thing
