Folk Lounge

Led by a leading exponent in the UK as well as a versatile singer and composer . This is a unique event that features presentation of folk songs composed by the eminent composers of India and Bangladesh by the students of Robi-Bharoti and Sanjoy Dey , Bengali poetry recitation ( with English translation) along with Indian classical dance.

Robi–Bharoti is a prominent South Asian music school based in East London that predominantly preaches Tagore’s music and also Indian classical and semi classical music at its highest standard. Led by Sanjoy Dey . A celebrated Indian singer and Tagore exponent , the school has been hosting events ,workshops on Indian music for last 10 years .
