Blood Lust: A Rehearsed Reading
17 May - 17 MayScotland, November 1901. Alexander Browning appears at Sinclair Hall with a cursed Greek artefact, a human heart and an angry eldritch nightmare hot on her heels. Lord Victor Sinclair, the recluse who sponsored the artefact’s recovery, is the only living person who might know how to help. What happens when a bad influence meets a worse one?
Blood Lust is a three-hander gothic-cosmic horror that blends eldritch dread with piercing emotional intimacy. Beneath the creeping terror lies a darker question: how monstrous do we feel when love demands honesty? When being truly known feels more frightening than any nightmare?
Presented as a rehearsed reading, this special performance offers audiences the chance to encounter a new work in its raw, dangerous form – and helps support One Man Poe at Edinburgh Fringe 2026.
