TangoE14 has been giving regular Saturday afternoon classes and dances at Saint John’s Community Hall’, 39 Glengall Grove, E14 9NU for over 15 years. {DLR-Crossharbour}.

Tony started doing Argentine Tango in 1996, and has taught it for over 20 years. Anita is a qualified trained teacher of dance. They joined forces over 15 years ago. Their teaching aims to help people to discover the joy of partner dancing Argentine Tango. Also, to understand both the ideas and the physical skills needed to achieve and enjoy this. Our emphasis is more on Argentine Tango as a social dance and a social skill, and not on competition.

The purpose is to provide ongoing tuition, practice, encouragement and dance opportunity to anyone interested in Argentine Tango. It is not about just learning a few steps. It is not a competition, or just showing off. Argentine Tango is an ongoing cultural pleasure that once started, can continually grow and be enjoyed all your life.
