Tango E14 is an award winning tango dance school. It has been operating for over 15 years. It was founded by Tony Lane, who started discovering Argentine Tango 30 years ago. He learned mostly from ‘Old Milongueros‘ as well as professional dancers from Argentina. Those ‘Old Milongueros‘ developed their dance skills by dancing socially and watching other dancers in Buenos Aires over many years, as well absorbing the culture of Tango. Anita was paired with Tony by Mina and Giraldo of ‘Corrientes’ for a performance piece. Tony recognised Anita’s ability and invited her to join Tango E14 at the beginning, and they have worked to create their Saturday afternoon Class and Milonga (dance), as well as the website information of Tangoe14.co.uk Anita is a qualified teacher of dance, so Tony and Anita work well together with their complementary skills and understanding of Argentine Tango dance and culture. We all, Tony, Anita and our students also benefit from our first class visiting Tango teachers from Argentina.
