Marcus Fernando Performer

Born in Dorchester, half Sri-Lankan, moved to America, raised in Guernsey and now living in Birmingham, Marcus has been acting for 27 years. He has worked with major companies, including the National, RSC and Hammersmith Lyric, as well as touring with the musical Buddy.
Marcus is also a skilled musician, playing a variety of instruments, is trained to Advanced level in Stage Combat, and has often been called upon to direct productions during his varied theatrical career. He is a trained puppeteer, having worked at Cannon Hill Puppet Theatre and Little Angel as well as internationally.
Marcus became a founder member of Dreamscape Theatre in 1999, when they toured their first production Educating Rita to Canada. Since then, the company has developed a first class international reputation, performing in Canada, Croatia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom.
When not performing, Marcus spends his time as a professional Photographer.

Tina HofmanPerformer

Tina was born in the Socialist Yugoslavia, where she started her performance training, but has moved to the Capitalist Britain to train in Physical Theatre. Tina performed a wide range of roles, from classical to non verbal behind the screen, with the latter being her favourite. After her performance training she also started directing, and her shows travelled across UK as well as to Canadian Festivals, New Zealand and Croatia. She worked on a wide range of projects: from children’s theatre (Flying Pizza), open air classics (Illyria), promenade Shakespeare with an integrated cast (Taking Flight), studio theatre (Dreamscape, Blue Orange), touring (Mouthpece). Tina is currently gearing up for directing Alice in Wonderland in London, and Christmas Carol in Birmingham but any free time uses to knot herself in a yoga position or travel to a hilltop town of Grožnjan where she co-runs , a gallery and grows vegetables.

Mark Taylor Composer

Formed in 1994, Chameleon Music is run by Mark Taylor, with all of the composing, arranging, performing and recording done in his private studio.
Over the last 17 years, Mark has provided music and sound design for productions all over the world – USA, Canada, New Zealand, Australia, UK, South America and mainland Europe.
Recent high profile clients include Castrol, BBC, Chevrolet and PBS (USA’s largest public media platform). Over the years Mark has worked with a long list of people including Radio 1 Rock DJ / songwriter Daniel P. Carter, pop producers Craig Hardy and Jason Perry (Blue, Lemar, McFly) and Danny Jones (vocalist McFly).
Mark is a composer contributor to a number of prominent online production Companies including Freeplaymusic (New York), Productiontrax (Arizona) and AudioMicro (California) .
Mark has recently had the dubious honour of having one of his tracks beamed into space from the Goonhilly satellite earth station in Cornwall, UK…took just 5 hours to go beyond the solar system and is now well into deep space. If aliens do finally arrive and they look angry, you now know who’s probably to blame!

David Wake Co-Writer

David Wake is an award-winning playwright with 16 plays performed on stage.  These have included romantic comedies, cerebral horror and mad SF epics as well as being asked to turn Shakespeare’s Richard III into a comedy.  He has recently been concentrating on novels and his novella The Other Christmas Carol is available from lulu.com.
He runs the writers group at the Blue Orange Theatre, Birmingham, where he is the new writing co-ordinator.  He wrote and directed the first new work to appear in the brand new theatre.
As an actor, he has appeared in the five star Underword at the Edinburgh Fringe playing a writer and in The Terminal Zone as the writer Rod Serling.
As a technical stage manager, he’s taken shows on tour and to the Edinburgh fringe, frozen in a fridge and lit Hollywood stars. He is about to embark on an MA in Writing.
