Summerâ€™s coming in St Petersburg and blushing bride-to-be, Agafya, has a string of suitors lined up for her by the local matchmaker â€“ but how can she decide which one to pick? Ivan wants to get married â€“ but how long will he take to pop the question once heâ€™s made up his mind?
Ivanâ€™s best friend, Ilya, driven to distraction by all the dithering, vows to take charge and force his hand â€“ wiping out the competition from the other suitors and making sure the day ends with wedding bells ringing. But will his cunning plan succeed?
