Summer Season 2018 – open for applications

The Space is a performing arts centre based in a converted church on the Isle of Dogs, East London.  We seek to programme high quality theatre productions, with a balance of classics, revivals, new writing and devised work. Our commitment to supporting new, emerging and established artists lies at the heart of what we do so if you have a play that will be at home here – we want to hear from you!

Previous praise for the Space has included:

‘The Space is one of the most exciting fringe venues in London.’ – Grumpy Gay Critic

‘It’s one of those intimate venues where you feel that anything could happen.’ – Everything Theatre

‘The Space is special. It’s intimate, it’s friendly, it can be cosy and I should think, if you were watching the right thing, you could be terrified out of your wits.’ – Sir Ian McKellen
